Types of Security in Network

There are several types of security in a network, covering both physical and digital aspects. Here’s an overview of some key types: 1. Physical Security Surveillance Systems:  Includes CCTV cameras, motion detectors, and access control systems to monitor and secure the physical premises where network hardware is located. Access Control:  Securing access to data centers, server rooms, and network cabinets through locks, biometric systems, key cards, etc. 2. Network Security Firewalls:  Devices or software that monitor and control incoming and outgoing network traffic based on security rules. Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS):  Tools that detect and possibly prevent unauthorized access or attacks. Virtual Private Network (VPN):  Secure connections over public networks, ensuring data privacy and encryption. Network Access Control (NAC):  Policies and protocols that restrict unauthoriz

SUPER VLAN

WHAT IS A SUPER VLAN. Imagine a big house with many rooms. Each room is like a small network (VLAN) for different people. To save money and make things easier, we combine these rooms into one big "super room" (super VLAN). Everyone in the house shares the same front door (IP address), but they still have their own private rooms (sub-VLANs). This way, we save money on keys (IP addresses) and keep everyone happy. So, a super VLAN is like a smart way to group smaller networks together to save resources and make things easier.
