Theory Question Answer 1 To 10

Q1 .

A Private IP Address Cannot Communicate On The Internet, But How Is It Possible That The PC We Sit On Gets A Private IP Address And Accesses The Internet.

Answer :

It Is Possible Through NAT.

NAT Means Network Address Translator For Example Like We Do English To Urdu Translator So It Is Also Network Address Translator.

Which Translates Your Local IP Address To The Public IP Address And Then Your Public IP Address Takes The Request To The Internet.

And This Translator Process Is Possible Through The NAT.

Q2.

For Example, If Our DHCP Server Goes Down, If The PC That Has Got The DHCP IP Address, It Will Also Lose The IP Address And That Computer Will Automatically Become An IP Address. Picks Up An IP Address That Is Not In Our Local Area Network's IP Range, Can That IP Address Communicate In Our Local Area Network If The Local Area Network's Pcs Have Also Picked Up The IP Address Automatically ? .

Answer :

Yes, It Is Possible If There Are Two Pcs That Had Received The IP Address Of The DHCP And The DHCP Is Corrupted For Some Reason.

And Now Those Pcs Will Lose The DHCP IP Address Because They Are No Longer Communicating With The DHCP Server.

They Will Automatically Pick Up An IP Address Called APIPA In The Network.

APIPA Stands For Automatic Private IP Addressing And The Address Ranges From 169.254.0.1 To 169.254.255.255.

And When The Two PC In The Network Get An IP Address In This Range, They Will Communicate In Because These Two PC Have A Same Network.

Q3.

Is It Possible That We Can Sit In Any Corner Of The World And Communicate With Our Local Area Network  Or Offices And Share Our Resources.

Answer :

Yes It Is Possible Throug A Remote Access Vpn And Site-To-Site Vpn.

Remote Access Vpn :  A Single User Device Can Communicate The Local Area Network Or Offices. Whether User Sit In Any Corner Of The World.

Site-To-Site Vpn : Thats Means Company To Company Communication Means A Companies Wether In Any Corner Of the World.

Fot Example Company A OR B. All User Of Company A Communicate The All User Of Company B.

Q4.

Our Straight Cable Which Is Not Working, Many Of The Wires Are Missing And That Cable Is Not Showing Connected, So Is It Possible That We Can Connect The Same Cable And Continue Communication.

Answer :

Yes It Is Possible If We Change The Color Code Of The Straight Cable Because The RJ45 Connector Does Not Have Important Color Code But The RJ45 Connector Pins Can Important .

Pins 1 And 2 And 3 And 6 Must Be Even Pairs, They Can Then Select Any Color Pair They Want.

In This Way, The   Colour Code Can Change The Cable  And Resume The Communication.

Q5.

What Is Difference Between End Device And Network Device ?

Answer :

End Devices Are Devices That Are Accessing The Internet From Another Device.

And Network Devices Are The Devices That Are Sharing The Internet To End Devices

End Devices Provide Services To Users And Network Devices Allow End Devices To Communicate With The Internet.

End Devices Include Computers, Smart Phones, Printers, And Security Cameras, And Network Devices Include Routers, Switches, And Gateways.

____________

Q6.

What Is A Router . Define Shortly ?

Answer :

1. A Router Is An Internetworking Device That Allows Two Or More Different Networks To Communicate And Share Data And Resources Between Users Of Those Networks.

And When A Packet Is Sent From One Network To Another Network, The Router Chooses The Best Path For That Packet So That Your Packet Send From One Network To Another Easily And Quickly.

2. The Process Of Best Path Choose For Packet Is Called A Routing.

3. Router Comunicates Based On Ip Address.

_____________

Q7.

What Is A Switch . Define Shortly ?

Answer :

1. A Switch Is A Network Device That Allows Multiples Computers To Communicate And Share Resources Between Them And Is A Centralized Device That Is Responsible For Sharing Resources And Data Between All Computers.

For Example, If Pc One Wants To Share A File With The Pc Two, It Will First File Come To Switch And Then Switch Will Share The File With Pc Two.

2. Switch Mostly Used In LAN Network And The Switch Communicates Based On Mac-Address

CSST COURSE 1.0

Q1. WHAT IS A ADDRESSING. Network addressing is like a two-part delivery system:   Logical Addressing (IP): This is like your permanent address (e.g., 192.168.1.1) that lets data find your device anywhere on the internet. Physical Addressing (MAC): Think of this as a unique ID for your device's network card (AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF) used for local delivery within your network. Q2. WHAT IS A PACKET AND FRAME . Packets: Layer: Network Layer (Layer 3) Content: The actual data you want to send, like an email, a video, or website information. Addressing: Contains logical addresses (IP addresses) to identify the sender and receiver on the network. Size: Can vary depending on the data type, but generally larger than frames. Travels across networks: Packets can travel across different networks, like the internet, as they are routed based on IP addresses. Frames: Layer: Data Link Layer (Layer 2) Content: The packet wrapped with additional information for local deliver...

DOS AND DDOS ATTACK

A Dos (Denial-Of-Service) Attack and A DDOS (Distributed Denial-Of-Service) Attack Are Both Attempts to Make a Computer System or Network Resource Unavailable to Legitimate Users. However, They Differ in How They Achieve This: Dos Attack: Imagine A Single Person Throwing Rocks at A Castle Gate. A This Person Represents the Attacker, And the Rocks Represent the Malicious Traffic. The Castle Gate Represents the Target System or Network Resource. The Attacker Keeps Throwing Rocks, Trying to Overwhelm the Gate's Defenses and Gain Entry. Dos Attacks Are Typically Launched from A Single System. They Can Be Effective Against Small Systems or Networks, But Larger Systems Can Often Withstand Them. DDos Attack: Imagine An Army Throwing Rocks at A Castle Gate. This Army Represents the Attacker, And the Rocks Represent the Malicious Traffic. The Castle Gate Represents the Target System or Network Resource. The Attackers Coordinate Their Attack, Throwing Rocks from Multiple Directions at Once. ...
